Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited school and possess an active medical license in the state of practice. Board certification and experience in internal medicine or a relevant clinical setting are required.

As a Locum MD/DO in Internal Medicine, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests Develop and implement patient management plans Provide preventive care and health education to patients Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of practice Experience in Internal Medicine or relevant clinical setting Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient-centered care Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient internal medicine practice
Patient Volume: 20 per day
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
15 or 30-minute patient visits
Support Staff: RNs, MAs, and patient service representatives
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
