• What You’ll Do: Deliver high-quality urgent care to patients within clinical guidelines and state regulations Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient Collaborate with clinical staff to provide seamless, efficient care Help patients avoid unnecessary ER visits by offering accessible, non-emergency medical treatment Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director What We’re Looking For: Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain) DEA license or willingness to obtain Solid understanding of treatment protocols and drug interactions Strong communication and interpersonal skills A positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset Genuine passion for patient-centered care
