The LVN will provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight for individuals with complex medical needs, specifically managing G-tube medications and enteral feeding. Candidates must hold an active LVN license in California and have 1-2 years of experience with G-tube administration and feeding. Current CPR/First Aid certification and knowledge of infection control standards are required.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with hands-on experience in gastrostomy tube (G-tube) medication administration and enteral feeding. The LVN will provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight to individuals with complex medical needs in a residential or home care setting, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality care.
Administer medications via gastrostomy tube (G-tube) following physician’s orders and established protocols Perform and monitor enteral feeding (bolus and/or continuous feeding) Assess G-tube site for signs of infection, leakage, or complications Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MAR) and treatment documentation Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to the physician and care team Provide tube care, flushing, and troubleshooting (e.g., clogging prevention) Educate and train direct care staff (DSPs/caregivers) on proper G-tube support procedures Ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations, infection control standards, and agency policies Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members
Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the State of California Minimum 1–2 years of experience with G-tube medication administration and feeding Current CPR/First Aid certification Strong knowledge of infection control and medication safety Experience in RCFE, ARF, or home care settings preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent documentation and communication skills Work Schedule
Flexible shifts available (Day / Evening / Overnight) Weekend availability may be required
