The Certified Phlebotomist will perform venipunctures and skin punctures on hospital patients and assist in reviewing lab results. Responsibilities also include blood specimen collection, including blood cultures.
Applicants should be a high school graduate or equivalent, with formal phlebotomy training as required by state. Certification as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist is preferred, along with relevant experience.
