$131 - $144 / HOUR
Responsible for assessing, planning, and performing professional nurse anesthetist practice, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care. Collaborates with anesthesiologists and surgeons to ensure patient safety and provide evidence-based care in a therapeutic environment.
Requires a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Practice and active RN and CRNA licensure through the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and be credentialed through the NBCRNA.
To assess, plan, perform, and document professional nurse anesthetist practice at Lakeview Hospital; to provide work direction for and oversight of unlicensed assistive personnel; to assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, their family, health professionals and others; responsible for providing patient care and support during general, regional or monitored anesthesia care, and is responsible for patient safety while under anesthesia; works with the staff anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical staff to provide safe and evidenced based care to patients and performs other duties as assigned.
