The Clinical Documentation Coder will review, analyze, and code diagnostic information in patient charts, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and identifying coding opportunities. They will also audit patient charts to ensure accurate coding.
Candidates should have a GED or Bachelor's degree, a professional coding certification, and at least one year of experience in advanced professional coding, particularly HCC coding. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records and strong communication skills are also required.

The Clinical Documentation Coder will be responsible for varying levels of risk adjustment, regulatory compliance and HCC diagnoses. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $24.00-$28.00/hr based on experience.
