The LPN provides direct clinical care, including patient assessment and the implementation of treatment plans under RN supervision. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and documenting encounters using SOAP charting.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and maintain current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of employment. CPR certification is required, and at least one year of clinic experience is preferred.
