The Audiologist evaluates patients for hearing loss, balance issues, and other ear-related conditions. They work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Candidates should have an Au.D. or Master's Degree in Audiology and a New York state Audiology license. A Hearing Aid Dispensing license and relevant certifications are preferred.

Identify, diagnose, and manage disorders for patients of all ages for hearing, balance, and tinnitus using otoscopic examination, comprehensive audiological testing, COR and VRA, and Acoustic Immittance testing. Assess the candidacy of patients with hearing loss for hearing aids, bone anchored hearing aids and cochlear implants. Take ear mold impressions for hearing aids, ear molds and noise protection Hearing aid and accessory sales, and fittings and verifications Recommend hearing assistive technology systems (HATS) EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $76,000.00 - $110,000.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
