The Medical Laboratory Scientist analyzes blood and body fluids using automated and manual methods to ensure high-quality results. Responsibilities include verifying quality control data, performing maintenance, and communicating critical results to caregivers.
A Bachelor's or Associate's degree is required for this position. National certification from ASCP, AAB, or AMT is preferred, along with a current Florida Medical Technologist license.
