The Audiologist provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for auditory and vestibular disorders and fits hearing instruments and cochlear implants. They are also responsible for providing aural rehabilitation and counseling to patients and caregivers.
Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology depending on licensure date, along with a state license from the Rhode Island Department of Health. Candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) and have at least one year of experience, including a clinical externship.
