Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a clinic setting, focusing on annual well-woman visits and follow-up care. Perform routine in-clinic procedures including IUD and Nexplanon placements.
Must be a board-certified Physician Assistant or APRN with a valid Utah license and DEA certification. Prior experience in women's health and BLS certification are required.
When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This APP will join our Avenues Women's Health team with clinics in Salt Lake City and Bountiful, Utah. Our team includes seven OB/GYN physicians and five APPs, as well as a comprehensive support staff. We focus on providing high-quality care for the full spectrum of women's healthcare needs. This APP will provide care in clinic, supporting both obstetric and gynecologic patients. Majority of time will be spent providing annual well-woman visits, establishing care and follow up visits, and limited urgent care. The APP may place IUDs, Nexplanon (if certified), and routine in-clinic procedures. There is no inpatient care or surgical assisting anticipated for this role. Full time, APP will generally be scheduled 4 shifts per week, split between our Salt Lake and Bountiful locations. Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Utah State Controlled Substance License Federal DEA Certificate II through V BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers Prior APP experience in women's health.
