The SLP is responsible for planning and implementing specific speech therapy treatment programs for a diverse patient population. They will also contribute to the further development of services across various facilities.
Candidates must hold a valid SLP license in the state of practice and a current BLS certification. One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Primarily responsible for the relationship management aspects of referral development specific to outpatient services. Serves as Director of Marketing for the hospital-based and/or freestanding outpatient clinic. This includes physician office calls, networking and participation in professional healthcare organizations, educational in-services and support of community initiatives such as health fairs/screenings or other community-sponsored activities that provide opportunities to raise general awareness of PAM Health programs and services. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is an exempt position and is a dual report with 90% to the Director of Strategy and Integration and 10% to the Corporate Outpatient Program Director.
Education and Training: Healthcare experience in marketing desired. Computer literate and desire to enhance skills with PAM information system software.
Prior involvement calling on physicians and referring facilities is desired. Must have current professional licensure to perform secondary responsibilities as back-up support for clinical oversight relative to patient care.
