The Ophthalmic Assistant is responsible for gathering preliminary patient data and performing various medical tests to assist the ophthalmologist. Key duties include documenting patient history, conducting vision tests, and administering drop therapy.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant. A COA certification and a Bachelor of Science degree are strongly preferred.
