Assist physicians in the clinical care of patients through assessment, planning, and evaluation, specifically focusing on wound care. Support day-to-day clinical operations including data entry, scheduling, and collaborating on multidisciplinary care plans.
Requires a Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Multistate Nursing License and CPR certification. Candidates should have two years of related experience and the ability to handle clinical standards and patient confidentiality.
Responsible for assisting the physician in clinical care of all patients to include patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Licenses & Certifications

*Experience in medical practice preferred. *Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians. *Must maintain high degree of confidentiality. *Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital and/or other physician. *Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
Area of Responsibilities *Assess compliance to the Clinical Pathway and communicates to Physician and rest of Clinical team. *Assists the Office Coordinator with various functions including data entry, scheduling of patients, and printing of information *Collaborates with Physician and Care team to develop a Multidisciplinary plan of care for the patient. Revises plan as needed with consultation with physician and clinical manager *Performs nursing assessment of patient's condition and reports findings to Case Managers and Clinical Manager *Records Wound Assessment data accurately and communicates pertinent information
Compliance Statement Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline.
