Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities. Administer medications and monitor client health as directed. Assist with mobility and physical exercises to enhance client well-being. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients. Document and report changes in client condition to the healthcare team. Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition guidance. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental health. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Current Home Health Aide certification in New York State. Previous experience in home health care or a related field. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client care. Reliable transportation to travel within Nassau County. Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
