The Patient Support Associate provides non-skilled therapeutic interventions, focusing on patient supervision, safety, and transport. They are also responsible for preparing equipment, maintaining a clean environment, and performing clerical tasks.
Candidates must be able to work independently, communicate effectively in English, and meet significant physical demands for patient lifting and mobility. Experience with special needs populations and certifications in CPI or Safety Care are preferred.
Ability to read, write and understand directions in English.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
One year work experience with special needs population.
Basic computer knowledge.
