The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing patients for examination, documenting vital signs and medical histories, and managing patient flow. They also handle clinical documentation and assist front office personnel with scheduling and telephone tasks.
A high school diploma and at least six months of related work experience are required. An Associate's Degree in Medical Assistance and National Certification are preferred.
