The COTA performs skilled tasks and assists Occupational Therapists with patient activities according to established plans of care. Additionally, the role involves participating in departmental operations, including quality improvement, budget monitoring, and safety programs.
Candidates must be a graduate of an AOTA-approved program and hold a current West Virginia state license and CPR certification. Experience is preferred but not required.
Experience preferred but not required. A thorough knowledge of the field of Occupational Therapy and the ability to work in co-operation with physicians, rehab staff members, other hospital personnel, and with patients and families. Current CPR required.
