The specialist is responsible for releasing patient medical records in compliance with state and federal regulations and documenting all PHI releases. Additionally, they handle incoming calls, facilitate imaging transfers, and process FMLA/disability forms.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Strong computer skills and knowledge of electronic health records are preferred.
