Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients in an outpatient opioid treatment program. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prescribe medications and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed to practice in Washington with a DEA license. Requires familiarity with MAT medications and no history of substance misuse for the past three years.
Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education; Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance; Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician; Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback; Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance; Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure; Perform other duties as assigned.
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, from an accredited college or university Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment Licenses/Designations/Certifications: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Licensed to practice in the state of Washington DEA license.
