The role involves providing a full range of Speech Language Pathology services to help patients maximize communication and regain independence. Responsibilities include performing skilled procedures and instructing patients and their families on home programs.
Candidates must hold a master's or doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology and be a licensed SLP in New Mexico. The role requires the physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Improves or maximizes the communication of the patient. Returns the individual to optimum and productive living within the patient's capabilities. Provides full range Speech Language Pathology Services as ordered by physician. Performs all skilled procedures. Instructs patients and family members in home programs. Participates in bi-weekly skilled clinical meetings. A master's or doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology. Licensed SLP in New Mexico Ability to participate in physical activity. Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity. Moderate lifting.
