Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Licensed Practical Nurse - Clinical at Montrose VA Medical Center in Montrose, New York. This contract position offers: Position Highlights: Employee status and access to a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and, Vision, 401(K), PTO and Sick time Schedule - 40 hours weekly, Daily shifts will be 9 hours long, scheduled between 0700 and 1700 Fully Insured patient population No on-call Opportunity to Care for our Active Duty, Retiree's and their families 11 paid federal holidays Education and Experience: The Family Medicine Licensed Practical Nurse will have the following requirements: Must be a US citizen, or lawful permanent resident, or alien authorized to work in the US Shall have and maintain a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Shall hold and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Certifications must be through American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines. Additionally, must provide proof of documented training from the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine (NFIM) or a similar accredited body. Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency; and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Two years of practical or vocational nurse experience in an outpatient setting within the past 3 years. Experience performing care and treatment of patients; operating and maintaining therapeutic equipment; properly administering oral and parenteral medications; conducting paraprofessional portions of physical examinations; or assisting in medical treatment of patients in accordance with established procedures and protocols, within the LVN scope of practice.
