Must have successfully completed the state competency exam for CNA certification. Requires the physical ability to assist residents and strong communication skills for accurate record-keeping.
Help residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming. Serve meals and make sure residents get the right nutrition, following dietary guidelines and preferences. Manage laundry efficiently to keep things clean and comfortable for residents. Address residents' needs quickly and with empathy, showing attentive care. Work with other care professionals to keep the care team effective. Write down observations and updates on residents' conditions to keep accurate records. Follow safety rules and infection control measures to keep residents healthy. Take part in training and education to keep improving caregiving skills.
