RN - Cath Lab (Per Diem)

Position Summary

Pre-op/post-op RN who provides direct patient care to patients before and after cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures to ensure patients are prepared/educated for procedure. Coordinates care with other disciplines related to patient scheduling, patient care team and staffing. A strong knowledge of cath lab process to recognize/handle emergency situations.

Experience

1 to 2 years critical care/cath lab experience/knowledge of cath lab procedures required. Cat Lab experience preferred.

Education

Accredited school of nursing graduate required. BSN preferred.

License and Credentials

NJ RN license required.

Required Skills

IV certification, BLS, ACLS, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.

Work Schedule

Per Diem. Minimum requirement- 2 days per month and 1 weekend on call every 6 weeks

The minimum starting rate for this position is $53.00
