Requires an associate degree from a CAPTE-approved PTA program, a valid state license, and a national PTA examination certification. A minimum of one year of healthcare experience is required, with a valid driver's license and CPR certification.

Graduate of a school with PTA curriculum approved by CAPTE or its successor organizations or meet any other Home Health Care Conditions of Participation PTA 42 requirements as outlined in 42 CFR 418.114(b)(8)- 418.114(b)(8) (ii) (A) (4). Successfully passed a national PTA examination recognized by the APTA. Minimum of one year of PTA experience in a health care setting, home health care experience preferred. Licensure/Certification
