Responsibilities

• Prairie St.
• John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997.
• Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services.
• Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region.
• More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St.
• John's. .
• We are currently searching for a full-time or part-time FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) where you will diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, perform physical exams, prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests during the patient's stay.
• This position requires you to work a rotation that includes holidays and weekends.
• We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates. *We are not accepting any PMHNP's or interns at this time.
• Typical Core Duties: Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive physical exams, review medical histories, and evaluate current symptoms.
• Diagnosis & Treatment: Determine diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe necessary medications and therapies.

Diagnostics

• Order and interpret laboratory, X-ray, and imaging results to monitor patient progress.

• Coordination: Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure continuity of care from admission through discharge.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

· Advanced masters and doctoral degrees in advanced nursing. We are only hiring for FNP's and not taking PMHNP candidates at this time. · Licensed by the States of North Dakota as an APRN · Able to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical record documentation. · Computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook
