Responsibilities

Provide various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of direct care. Provide for the personal needs and comfort of people in their own homes Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting Prepare meals and special diets Perform general housekeeping activities Provide transportation assistance to and from activities Provide compassionate companionship to patients Other duties as assigned

• Our residential school is located on 43 acres outside the city of San Marcos, Texas. The homes and academic classrooms are centrally located to one another to allowfor continuity of services between academics and residential living. In addition, day services are available for students who need a specialized educational setting but wish to live at home with their families. Texas Hill Country School is licensed as a residential treatment center by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and our academic program is approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as a non-public school. Our Texas Hill Country School specializes in working with students who have been unsuccessful in other educational settings. This program accepts children and adolescents, ages 6-22, with acquired brain injuries, developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, and a host of other neurological and psychological problems.
