The therapist provides mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and groups within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, and consulting for client organizations.
Candidates must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with at least 5 years of clinical experience and BLS certification. Proficiency in CBT, ACT, and DBT, along with graduation from an APA accredited program, is required.
Ability to inspire respect, trust, and confidence. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; including expertise with presentation skills. Ability to establish therapeutic alliances and rapport required to work with a diverse patient population Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures while still working within the collaborative team framework. Proficient computer and technology skills Physical Job Requirements May require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
