Pathologist Assistant PT

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pathology Assistant to support pathologists in the examination, processing, and documentation of surgical and tissue specimens. Responsibilities

• Assist with gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
• Accession, label, and process tissue specimens
• Prepare and document specimen descriptions and measurements
• Submit tissue sections for histologic examination
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Assist with specimen tracking, storage, and disposal
• Support laboratory quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field required
• PA(ASCP) certification preferred
• Previous pathology, histology, or laboratory experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
