We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator Medical Assistant to join our growing team in a fast-paced, dynamic medical setting.

and Duties: As a Medical Assistant at Porch Light Health, you will be expected to perform a combination of clinical and administrative tasks to support both our medical team and our patients. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Booking and Rescheduling Appointments: Coordinate with patients to schedule and reschedule appointments efficiently. Managing Prior Authorizations: Submit and track insurance prior authorizations to ensure timely treatment for patients. Patient Monitoring and Communication: Take and record patient vitals, perform injections, and provide ongoing communication with patients regarding their treatment.
and Skills: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or other relevant certification is also acceptable. Phlebotomy Experience: Phlebotomy skills are highly desirable. Proficiency in Google Suite: Comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, and other Google applications. Experience with EMR Systems: Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred (at least 1 year).
Reliable transportation is required for travel between clinic locations.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent certification.
At least 1 year of experience with EMR systems is preferred. Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting, particularly addiction medicine, is a plus. Valid Driver's License
