POSITIONS: $1,500.00 Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an active treatment team member. Depending on which unit works, CNAs provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. They work under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Take and record vital signs correctly. Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and document changes in a patient's appearance, behavior, or ability to work toward treatment plan goals. Communicate changes in the patient's condition to the charge nurse. Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient. Document the treatment plan, nursing interventions, and the patient's response to the intervention. Employ appropriate crisis intervention techniques as needed Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living. Act as the patient's advocate and uphold the patient's rights.

Education: A high school degree or equivalent is preferred. An accredited degree in social work, recreational therapy, or an appropriate therapeutic discipline is also preferred.
Experience

Must have a valid Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant license. Must maintain a valid driver's license in the state of Georgia.
