The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for patient work-ups, diagnostic testing, and providing patient education. They also manage patient workflow, assist in minor procedures, and maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality.
A high school diploma is required, with a preference for 2+ years of experience and COA/COT certification. Candidates should be proficient in typing 45 wpm and have experience with EHR systems.
