We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Independence, Missouri. This role is focused on helping patients improve mobility, recover from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, reduce pain, and return to the daily activities that matter most to them. You will work with a steady patient caseload, supported by a collaborative clinical team of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. Position Highlights Full-time Physical Therapist position Competitive salary based on experience New graduates are encouraged to apply Collaborative and supportive clinical team Modern outpatient orthopedic setting Opportunity for professional growth and development Preferred Work Schedule Options We offer flexibility and would strongly prefer one of the following schedules: Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Tuesday off each week Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Clinic Information Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants EMR System: WebPT Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Evaluate patients and identify mobility, strength, pain, and functional limitations Create individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, goals, and clinical findings Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions across a wide patient age range Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed Educate patients on home exercises, body mechanics, and safe movement strategies Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries in WebPT Work closely with PTs, PTAs, and other care team members to support patient outcomes Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure New graduates are welcome to apply Outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills Comfortable working with patients across different ages and activity levels Insurance Plans Accepted Patients are covered through a variety of insurance providers, including: Blue Cross Blue Shield UnitedHealthcare Medicare TRICARE Humana Aetna Paid Time Off Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Step into a Physical Therapist role where you can grow clinically, work with a supportive team, and help patients make real progress.
