POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Conveniently located near public transportation Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Performs routine and stat laboratory tests utilizing automated or semi-automated equipment, kit assays, and microscopic evaluations. This includes the ability to understand, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot (may involve working with manufacturer’s customer service personnel) the applicable equipment and testing methods. Performs work accurately and precisely and can organize the workload to meet service demands, calmly, efficiently, and without direct supervision. Performs quality control analyses on all tests assigned and determines whether all parameters are within established ranges. Participates in training and demonstrating routine laboratory techniques to new employees in coordination with the CLT Lead. May send out letters to patients, as delegated by clinic leadership, with lab results or overdue reminder letters for appointments. REQUIREMENTS for CLT1: Able to be certified as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist with the Washington State Department of Health within 90 days of hire. High School / GED REQUIREMENTS for CLT2: Able to be certified as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist with the Washington State Department of Health within 90 days of hire.
