The LPN is responsible for promoting the health and safety of residents through on-site visits and ensuring staff are trained in current medical procedures. They must also maintain facility compliance with current regulations and standards.
Candidates must hold a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse and have experience working with seniors. Strong communication skills and proficiency with computerized resident record systems are required.
32-36 hours per week. Flexibility in weekday schedule and work every other weekend.
The role of the LPN is to promote that the health and safety of all residents through on site visits with the residents and staff. The LPN will ensure that staff is trained in medical procedures and policies which are current and up to date. The LPN will also ensure that the facility is in compliance with current regulations and standards. Must be able to relate professionally with residents, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members.
Works indoors in a climate-controlled environment majority of the time.
