How you’ll contribute

A Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role

· Examines patients with breathing related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing.

· Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient.

· Performs physiotherapy and other treatments.

· Teaches patients to use medication.

What we’re looking for Applicants should be Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the VA Board of Health Professions and in good standing with the board.

Additional requirements include

· Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.

· ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.

·1 year of hospital-based experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

· NRP within 6 months of hire.
