Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities Rooming Patients

• Collect pertinent information including vitals, chief complaint, family history, social history, surgical history, and perform medication reconciliation upon arrival.
• Medication
• Management: Administer medications and assist with prescription refills per department protocols. Call medications into pharmacies, notify patients, and document actions in the EMR.

• Care: Maintain department-specific competencies for POC testing, equipment handling, and specialty training.

• Preparation: Prepare charts in advance of visits to ensure all previously ordered testing is completed.

• Authorizations: Obtain prior authorizations through insurance companies and coordinate referrals.

• Instructions: Provide patients with written instructions for procedures, medications, or follow-up at the direction of the provider.

• Retrieve and provide condition-specific education from approved websites, internal resources, or printed materials.

Compensation and Benefits

• The compensation range for this position is $18.33per hour - $29.69per hour.
• This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
• The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
