The CMA supports physicians by rooming patients, collecting vitals, and managing medication reconciliation. They also handle administrative tasks such as prior authorizations, chart preparation, and patient education.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and hold at least one recognized Medical Assistant certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA). BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
As a cornerstone of the clinic, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) partners with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. By accurately gathering vital signs, reconciling medications, and keeping the daily schedule on track, the CMA allows providers to focus entirely on patient health.
Patient care (or relevant clinical) experience preferred.
