Part-Time Psychiatrist

• St.
• Vincent’s Hospital, a division of Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, has a part-time position (2 days per week) for a BC/BE psychiatrist to work on our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team based in Staten Island, NY.
• The psychiatrist works as part of a multidisciplinary team providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management services to half of the team's 68 clients.
• The psychiatrist works closely with the team leader to provide clinical supervision to the team including the team’s psychiatric nurse practitioner.
• Work is community based, client centered, and recovery oriented.
• There is active collaboration with other treatment providers and the client's support system.
