Perform diagnostic radiology studies using computerized equipment while ensuring radiation doses are kept as low as reasonably achievable. Maintain radiographic areas, document patient data, and provide mentoring to new hires.
Requires registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a Connecticut Radiographer License. Candidates must have two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Under the general supervision of the Radiologist, provides diagnostic service for patients of all ages undergoing Diagnostic Radiology studies in the Department of Radiology. Multi-skilled technologists utilize computerized radiography equipment to produce quality images for radiological diagnosis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is based in a healthcare facility that provides patient care services in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Employees may work in various clinical or administrative areas depending on their role.
