Maintains laboratory instrumentation, quality control, and calibration functions to ensure accurate testing. Provides training and assesses competencies for staff while ensuring tests are completed within established time frames.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist. Candidates must have between two to four years of laboratory experience depending on their specific certification level.

Education Bachelor’s degree and Medical Technology (MT) certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988. Experience Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2); OR Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT/HTL (internal CLS3) (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Technologist or equivalent Compensation/Benefits $26.77-$43.71/hr depending on previous experience Position qualifies for $3.00/hr night shift differential Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
