Medical Assistant

FULL TIME CLINIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT Morrow County Health District has an opening for a Full-time Medical Assistant at Pioneer Memorial Clinic.

Pay range

$21.70-$28.60/hr DOE, day shift. Standard four-month probationary period.

Job Duties

• Provide patient care and perform a variety of procedures and assessment duties including vital signs, EKG, Oximetry testing.
• Performs phlebotomy and administers injections.
• Records and updates information in patient's electronic medical record.
• Ensures supplies are adequately stocked and outdates are pulled from supply areas.
• Assists provider as necessary and completes authorizations/referrals as requested.

Job Details

• Highschool graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain a BLS certification.
• Bilingual preferred.
• MA Certification preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
