Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in obstetrics, labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal units. Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart tones, administering medications, and educating families on infant and postpartum care.
Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and a current state RN license. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and at least six months of obstetrical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred License/Certification Current state RN license or compact state equivalent required Basic Life Support (BLS) as required per facility policy Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) as required per facility policy Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as required per facility policy Fetal Monitoring Certification as required per facility policy Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required per facility policy Experience Minimum of six (6) months of obstetrical nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
