• Crisis Clinician – Maryview Medical Center Job Summary: The Crisis Clinician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a designated healthcare professional in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and within policies, procedures, and guidelines of Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH).
• Work is often performed in an Emergency Department setting and can be completed via telehealth.
• Essential Functions: Provides crisis assessment and referral services.
• Facilitates and supports patient and/or family de-escalation, as well as patient safety planning.
• Completes psychosocial assessments, assigned screenings, and discharge planning.
• Knowledge of local resources and family support services to collaborate with community and state facilities.
• Participates in continued education and in-service training.
