Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Assess needs, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes for OB/GYN patients.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
Administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse events, and maintain meticulous documentation.
Promote patient safety, infection control, and sanitary practices; apply critical thinking and professional judgment in daily care.
Requirements
Active RN license in California (or eligibility to obtain) for practice in the state.
OB/GYN nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment.
Travel nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Must meet standard regulatory and facility requirements to work in obstetrics/gynecology care.
