Job description
Overview Surgical Technologist (Scrub) – OR Tech, Hermiston, Oregon.
This travel assignment starts 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
Earn a weekly pay of $1,756 to $1,868 with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Shift is 3x12 rotating, with 12-hour shifts typically covering 06:30 to 19:00.
Function as the scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures; assemble and organize required sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment
Maintain the sterile field, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and provide instruments and supplies to the team as procedures progress
Assist with placement of sterile drapes and support ongoing aseptic technique throughout the procedure
Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing; transport them to decontamination areas and assist with post-procedure room cleanup
Participate in ongoing education and competency verification applicable to scrub responsibilities; uphold patient privacy and confidentiality
Floats to other departments as needed when qualified, and perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
Education: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
Training: CRASE training required if travel assignment extends beyond 6 months
