The Medical Assistant manages patient intake, performs lab work and drug screenings, and maintains accurate medical records. They also provide patient education on detoxification and coordinate care for pregnant patients.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience as a medical assistant. Required certifications include CPR, First Aid, and BLS, along with the ability to administer medications.
