Purpose: - The Recovery Specialists MA/MS functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team with the primary responsibility of monitoring consumer behavior while on the unit, developing treatment plans, discharge planning, and other responsibilities needed to assist consumers in transitioning back to the community following admission to the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Key
Responsibilities: - Provide direct support and guidance to clients in recovery, helping them to achieve their personal recovery goals. - Facilitate group activities and individual sessions focused on recovery, wellness, and life skills development. - Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns or changes in behavior to the clinical team. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to safety protocols and responding to emergencies as needed. - Educate clients and their families about recovery processes and available resources. - Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in recovery support.
