The pharmacist is responsible for verifying medication orders, monitoring medication management processes, and reviewing patient-specific drug therapy for safety and efficacy. They also oversee pharmacy technician work and perform anticoagulant monitoring according to protocols.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy school with a BS Pharm or PharmD and hold a current state license to practice. Two years of hospital pharmacy experience and a clinical residency are preferred.
