The Medical Assistant performs routine clinical and administrative duties, including patient assessments, specimen collection, and diagnostic procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining medical supplies, documenting patient care, and handling clerical tasks like scheduling and registration.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. Required certifications include CCMA, CMA, or RMA, with BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
