Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiologist

This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesiology care in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive anesthesia services, collaborating with surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process. The position will allow you to engage with diverse cases and support our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during and after surgery Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations Provide patient education and address inquiries related to anesthesia Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per medical standards

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of residency in Anesthesiology Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Beeper call on weeknights and weekends

Daily Volume: 10 patients

Patient Population: Adults & pediatrics

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
